Author
Ever since I was a little kid, I loved reading and retelling stories. I would beg my mom to read picture books to me for hours, and I would sometimes draw my favorite characters on the chalkboard. When I learned how to write in English, I began to write my own tales, inspired by the books and movies I had seen. Since then, I’ve written for literary magazines, as well as published two books of my own. All the experiences I have, and all the questions and thoughts that arise in me, make me want to write.

Vultures
Vultures was written over the course of my 8th-grade year.
I initially drafted an excerpt for the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, where it received a Silver Key. After that early recognition, I decided to continue writing and eventually completed the full novel.
The story follows a young man in New York shielding himself from the rest of the world,
while he encounters severe lapses in his judgment.

Faces and Names
I wrote Faces and Names in the summer of 2023. Inspired by events I’d encountered with my friends that year,
I decided to document my experience into a short story. The book contains themes of angst, jealousy, and the loss of individuality and innocence of judgment when our actions are motivated by greed.
“… it’s one fine plank of wood. The angle in relation to the seat is perfect… the reason I liked this bench was because people came and went, and there was always a second seat for them…my Lithuanian Grandma Kavaliauskas used to tell me when she was still alive. It was this story that’s a bit foggy in my head, but the overall message was that everyone is born with a curse. Now, you can probably guess what my problem is. Hell, I can barely make someone glue their own ass to a park bench, for God’s sake.”
